One Month Left!

I can not believe that in a few weeks I will finally be serving in Kenya! It is getting to that point of the semester that I am over doing assignments, tests, meetings, and everything else. This semester is even worse because I know right when school is finished I will be on a plane and that thought just won't leave my mind. However, preparation for the trip is going great!! We have everything booked, making final plans for when we arrive, figuring out all of the details, and I even have a packing list started. I also am becoming much more familiar with Swahili and the Kenyan culture. My teammates and myself have been working some crazy hours to finish all of our projects for our class we are taking. We have weekly meetings and assignments, a huge portfolio to use when we are in country, and a video. By "a video" I mean the start of the best thing ever created :) While creating this video I realized that my team has the most incredible work ethic ever. We put a lot of work into this video because we all strive for the best. We fought through some conflict and a couple late nights to finish it all. However, seeing the finished product of our first video just made me that much more excited for working with them this summer. So check it out! It is only five minutes but the video really shows who we are, how we are preparing for this summer, and where we are serving!
